Rose is the most familiar scent in an Indian home — gulab jal has sat on bathroom shelves for generations. This hand wash uses naturally extracted rose rather than a synthetic stand-in, so it smells like the flower rather than like rose-scented soap. It lifts away dirt, oil and cooking grease, rinses clean without a slippery film, and leaves a soft floral trace behind.
Why you'll love it
- Naturally extracted rose — soft and true to the flower, not the sharp synthetic rose most washes use
- Cuts through kitchen grease — lifts away oil and food residue that water alone leaves behind
- Rinses clean — no residue on the skin or around the basin
- Built for hands washed all day — glycerine, aloe vera and vitamin E are there to offset the tightness that repeated washing causes
- Free from parabens and silicones — nothing left behind to build up on the skin
- A 500ml bottle by the sink — roughly 300 pumps, unisex and all-ages, guests included
Key ingredients
- Rose extract — naturally extracted, for a soft floral note that stays close to the skin
- Aloe vera extract — water-rich and soothing, it keeps skin comfortable through repeated washing
- Glycerine — a humectant that draws moisture into the skin, offsetting the drying effect of washing
- Vitamin E — an antioxidant that helps hands feel soft rather than rough after washing
The full ingredient list is printed on the bottle.

FAQ
FAQ
Q1. Is it a real rose scent or a synthetic one?
The rose is naturally extracted. It smells softer and rounder than the sharp synthetic rose used in most inexpensive washes, and it fades gently rather than hanging around.
Q2. Will it be too floral for men to use?
It is a light, clean rose rather than a heavy perfumed one, and it does not linger strongly once hands are dry. It is made as a unisex wash for a shared basin, so one bottle suits the whole household.
Q3. Will it dry out my hands with frequent washing?
Glycerine, aloe vera and vitamin E are in the formula specifically to offset the tightness that repeated washing causes. If your skin is already very dry, follow with a hand cream as you would with any wash.
Q4. Does it contain parabens or silicones?
No. This hand wash is free from both, and the rose fragrance is naturally extracted rather than synthetic.
Q5. Can children use it?
Yes, for children old enough to wash their own hands. As with any personal care product, keep it out of reach of young children and supervise use.
Q6. How long will a 500ml bottle last?
A 500ml bottle gives roughly 300 pumps, and one pump is enough for a pair of hands. In a busy kitchen shared by a family that works out to about a month; on a single bathroom basin, considerably longer.
